Midwest Terminals of Toledo International, Inc. – Port Authority Facility 1
The Midwest Terminals of Toledo International (Toledo Lucas County Port Authority Facility 1) is the premier destination for vessels calling on Toledo. Located at the confluence of the Maumee River and Lake Erie, Facility 1 has no air draft and does not require tugboat assistance for docking. Facility 1 comprises 123 acres and has 23,000 feet of rail. Our location is served by CSX. The dock face is 4,100 feet long and dredged to seaway draft (26’6” or 8.08 meters).
Midwest Terminals’ Facility 1 makes four modes of transportation available onsite (vessel, rail, truck, and pipeline). Facility 1 has an extensive equipment fleet available for vessel activity including three mobile harbor cranes, loaders, material handlers, switching locomotives (including our new EV model) and a large set of forklifts.
